Christy Sports gets a new look

June 11, 2008

Denver, CO: October 2008 - Linear Method has recently completed a redesign for the Christy Sports ecommerce sites.  The designs were several years old and since then many new features have been added which were not optimized in the old design.

The new design uses the wider style common for many newer sites which allows for more flexibility in displaying more content visible in a single screen view.  On an ecommerce site with thousands of products this offers a large benefit when promoting related products.  As a result of a cleaner look the navigation has become more simple to use and there is more space so we were able to add additional features such as featured products and user reviews.

Another aspect which was given considerable attention is the ordering / checkout process.  Taking customers feedback into consideration we modified this process making it even easier to complete an order.
