YMCA signs with Linear Method

Denver, CO: July 2009 - One of the most recognizable organizations in the country, the YCMA, has selected the Denver based web development company, Linear Method, as its web development partner. The first project is to launch a new website to replace the current ageing site which has served its use but is no longer able to meet the growing needs of the organization. In addition to a different design, the new site will contain many additional sections with added features which will make content updates by the YMCA staff both easier and faster. Users to the site should benefit by an improved navigation structure and search making it easier to locate important as well as the additional information being added to the new site.

A custom CMS structure was developed for this project to create a perfect fit with the structure of the organization. The YMCA has multiple locations each having their own sport offerings and then their own breakdown inside each sport with respect to age groups which determines the leagues available. Within each league the system will not only store the game schedules for each team, but any player can enter their name to bring up the practice schedule for their team.
