About the organization

The YMCA of Denver has been a staple of the area and positively impacted local residence for over 130 years. Currently the YMCA of Denver services over 100,000 people each year of all ages. They ensure that everyone has access to programs and activities that meet their individual needs. The YCMA of Denver brings individuals and groups together to form communities that support the success of all children. They shape the futures of young people through programs like; YMCA After School, YMCA Youth Sports, YMCA Aquatics and YMCA Summer Day Camps.

The Website's impact

The old website for the YMCA was outdated for several reasons - it was difficult to update and lacked the structre needed to provide the in depth information needed by the customer base.

The new site solved these issues by accomplishing the following goals:

• Redesigning the site for a new fresher and more visual look with the look of more colors and larger images.
• Reorganized the site to work better with recent changes made in the organization.
• With over a dozen locations, we provided localized CMS access so each location can update thier own information.
• Created an importing feature allowing each sports program to easily upload entire rosters which now eable individuals to locate their coach, practice schedule and game scheduels.
