About the organization

For nearly a decade our mission has been to offer lasting and meaningful sympathy gifts to support the grieving. Although, there is a place for flowers in the loss of a loved one, the greater need comes in the 2-3 weeks after the loss and the year of "firsts" (First Thanksgiving, First Mother’s Day, etc.) when the support dwindles and friends and family return to their daily routines. The company was uniquely set up for customers to select gifts and enter any date they would like to have their friend or loved one remembered.

The websites impact

Having developed the first version of Sympathy Solutions website almost a decade ago, it was time for a complete overhaul. The original site had more than outlived its intended purpose and in addition to and updated design, many new functions were required to do changes in the business.

Sympathy Solutions has recently made several business changes such as partnering with hundreds of mortuaries which should dramatically increase sales. The net impact on the site will be the need for a larger number of product, more flexibility with the products and promotions and better SEO and a more robust CMS system.

Over a series of meetings the new changes to the business and needs of the website were discussed. Linear Method came up with an implementation plan to accomplish all the new goals. In addition to a finished product with all the necessary features, the site was designed with growth in mind allowing it to evolve with the business over the next decade.
